Hi Joe. Welcome to the board. I am glad you stopped by.

I don't know about you but I do in fact believe we do have a wonderful way of life. We live in homes- not caves. We drive cars - no more horse and buggy. We (including you) use computers - and are no longer soley dependent on libraries and postage stamps. We have cell phones-and no longer depend on our screams. We have medical technology that has enabled us to live longer, healthier lives.

I could go on with how wonderful is our way of life. And to be quite frank I have no desire to turn back time.

I am all for conservation Joe, however, I am not for this myth of global warming. This is a scam. A new way created for the government to tax and control the populace. And for what gain? None.

Certainly we can use other forms of alternative energy. But taxing to the point of being economically devastating is not the answer. These taxes do not create alternative energy.

Until a viable alternative energy is discovered it is what it is. If you choose to live in a cave, then shut off your computer and go. However, for those of us that know it's myth we shall continue to fight this ever growing insanity being pushed by the left wing liberals.

Loving our planet? Saving our wonderful way of life? You mean the way humans consume without restraint and raze and pollute the earth to meet its energy needs! Global warming may indeed be a myth, but here is what is not: 1 - Climates change. How will people deal with those changes when the regions currently used for growing crops can no longer support our staples? So there is a benefit to the hysteria, if people have any sense at all. 2 – The price of fossil fuels has little if anything to do with left-wing attacks. The prices are manipulated by the suppliers and middle men. Your bias undermines your credibility. There is no reason for people to still be as dependant upon fossil fuels as they are. Carter knew we had a problem back in the 70’s – 30 years ago – and we could have begun the transition to other energy sources then, but no! Humans are stupid creatures who reap what they sow.
