Barack Obama admits he’s not qualified to be President

After his 2004 election as Illinois Senator Barack Obama clearly stated he was not qualified to run on a national ticket in 2008.

Reporter:
Why have you ruled that out - running nationally?

Obama:
I am a firm believer is knowing what you’re doing when you apply for a job. And, I think that if I were to seriously consider running on a national ticket, I would essentially have to start now, before having served a day in the senate. Now there are some people who are comfortable doing that. I’m not one of those people.

Perhaps Obama can share with us what major changes have occurred during this time that he now believes himself prepared to be President of the United States. What are your qualifications?

And would someone please tell me who that reporter is. I would love to know who or what prompted him to even ask this question. Seriously, even his supporters can not name one Obama accomplishment - not one!

    Well he defeated Hillary! :)

I’m not sure anyone is qualified to be a leader on the scale of the President of the United States. The people who should be qualified are the Presidents who are starting their second term. They’re the ones who’ve sat in the Oval Office for one term already. And look at the improvement G.W. Bush made in his second term - he just dug the hole he made in term 1 bigger!

Somewhere, John McCain is saying, “Thank you, God, for this new ad material!”
