Governor Bobby Jindal cleaning house
As the result of financial disclosure laws implemented by Gov. Bobby Jindal and the Legislature, many state and local public officials in Louisiana now have to report certain financial and government contracting information. This begins next Spring. Governor Jindal permitted them the option of “opting out” by resigning their positions by next Monday. So far 282 have resigned.
