In Case You Missed It

Published by Max Steel under Uncategorized Edit This

Last week, newsmakers were busy bees. In case you missed it, here is what happened:

Democrats have wanted high gas prices for quite some time now, knowing it would force consumers to drive less. Now that the high prices are here, they suddenly face a $9 billion dollar “shortage” to spend on highways.

Heaven forbid they be fiscally responsible. It so happens their pork barrel spending last go round totaled $8.5 billion to projects such as a Las Vegas History Museum, a Montana Baseball stadium, and a North Dakota peace garden. An amount just shy of this years projected shortfall.

In a stunning move reaffirming their stupidity, lawmakers are quietly discussing the possibility of raising the federal gas tax from 18.4 cents per gallon on gasoline, to 28.4 cents per gallon, and from 24.3 cents on diesel to 34.3 cents per gallon.

Time to sharpen those pitchforks.

Obama has declared that we can not rely on only our military in order to achieve national security measures. He has declared our need for a “Civilian National Security Force” that is just as powerful, strong, and well-funded as the military.

What does this mean? Is he referring neighbor spying on neighbor, like the Defense of the Revolution Brigades found in Cuba and Venezuela?

Barack Obama’s birth certificate controversy has yet again reared its head. Atlas Shrugs has a detailed, in depth, report detailing the convincing evidence that the certificate found on Obama’s “Fight the Smears” site is a forgery. For those not wanting to read the information watch the youtube video.

Denver will be hiding their homeless during the Democrat National Convention next month. They will be receiving free movie tickets, free passes to the zoo, and free entry to Denver Museum of Natural Science, and of course, free public transportation to get them there. No food or shelter will be provided. At least they will be somewhat cultured, huh?
