What do anarchists, topless sunbathers, and Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin have in common? Other than the fact they are all in the news today…nothing.

The Rocky Mountain News is reporting that a group of disgruntled self-described anarchists are threatening to disrupt the Democratic National Convention. However, they are not an unreasonable group of people. These masked figures have declared that if the DNC gives the $50 million grant provided by the federal government (taxpayers), to provide security at the event, to the community instead, they will go away. They want the money spent on healthcare, education, and housing.

The DNC has stated that the $18 million spent on new weaponry for the local police department is necessary not only to protect the DNC visitors but protesters as well.

In unrelated news guaranteed to make many men cry, Topless Sunbathing in France has gone out of style. Due to risks of skin cancer and greater sensitivity to muslims, the French now see topless sunbathing as a “bit vulgar.”

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, whose name is being tossed around as John McCain’s potential Vice President is now under investigation. It has been claimed the Governor attempted to get her ex-brother-in-law, Mike Wooten, fired from his job as a State Trooper. One of Mrs Palin’s allegations against the ex? He tested a stun gun on his 10 year old step son. The ex admitted this was true.
