Texas Set To Execute Mexican Murderer Despite Rule of INTERNATIONAL Court Of Justice
Today Texas will be executing Jose Ernesto Medellin, who in 1993 raped and murdered two young girls ages 14 and 16 as part of a street gang initiation rite.
His request for a stay of execution was turned down by the Supreme Court of the United States. On July 16 of this year, the International Court of Justice demanded the U.S. Government to do everything within its powers to halt the execution.
Texas has rightfully refused to halt the execution, arguing their State Courts are not bound by the IJC treaty.

they should first let him be raped by two hulking lifers! Why does the IJC believe he should be saved. i’m not big on the death penalty, i believe life in prison is much worse but it’s not about what we as law abiding citizens believe to be worse, it’s what’s a bigger deterrent to criminals. This scumbag rapiist/murderer/gangbanger doesn’t derserve to live.
As Texas comic Ron White says,[sic] “People talk about banning the death penalty–Texas has an express lane…” For some reason that came to mind when I read your post…and yes, I too am a native Texan…have a good day!
