Michelle Obama’s Failed Makeover
Call me jaded, but I was not at all impressed with Michelle Obama’s speech last night. She appeared to be a contained, controlled, hyper, tense, still angry, woman trying to pull off June Cleaver. It did not work for me.
The speech itself was okay, for someone else. It was not her. It was obvious that every pause, chuckle, inflection of voice was scripted. Certainly the crowd loved her. Of course they were going to. She could have told them all to jump in a lake, and they would have cheered her on.
Some people can be made over. Some people can be made anew. Michelle Obama is not one of those people. She is who she is for better or worse. Her handlers failed, but then again they didn’t have much to work with.
That being said, the daughters are adorable. Absolute dolls. But, the end when Daddy came on screen too hokey. And, it will behoove Barack to remember where he is. Lucky for him one of his cherubs provided the opportunity to correct his mistake.

Don’t hate. The Obama’s have worked hard to make it to where they are. So since you’ve asked, allow me to call you JADED…
Irregardless of whether you see Michelle as the “angry” (black) woman, you should step back and see beyond race and look at the issues and what it would mean to this country to have a new look and a new voice. America needs a change. The Status Quo has failed.
In regards to your crack about Barack being in St. Louis instead of Kansas, for Christ’s sake the man is human. Why don’t you achieve what he has. Our current leaders make a multitude of mistakes. Have anything to say about those?
Remember, the Obama’s are not caucasian so they may not fall into the “June and Ward Cleaver” category, but neither do any of the other politicians.
Get a grip. This is should not be a popularity contest. It’s critical that we Americans listen to the issues on BOTH sides of the political scheme and vote for the candidate who can help restore our economy, our diplomatic relationships, and restore peace within our homeland.
We need a change in this country, a positive change. We do not need to concern ourselves with such superficial issues. How Michelle looks or how well she makes a speech won’t amount to a hill of beans if we lose our ability to buy food or pay for shelter. How does third world country appeal to you? It’s where we are headed if we don’t start making wiser choices.
Great Post!
Unfortunately Michelle Obama is an angry woman and will remain that way.
R - I just wanted to say that Conservative Politics cares only about the issues, you will discover that when you read some other posts. However Michelle Obama’s anger and hatred towards America does affect Barack Obama and their view of the issues.

“Why don?t you achieve what he has.”
Which is what, exactly? What has he achieved other than brainwashing 18 million people into believing his HOPE and CHANGE mantra, getting the media in the tank for him, and lying to the American people about his dangerous assocations and sketchy record.
Please, do tell.
