Sarah Palin, A Female Conservative Maverick
John McCain has certainly shaken this race up with his selection of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate. The Obama camp, rattled to the core, has responded by saying McCain can no longer cite Obama’s lack of experience as an election issue. Aside from the admission that Obama is indeed lacking experience, this could not be more wrong.
1. The race for President is between Obama and McCain - not Obama and Palin.
2. Governor Sarah Palin has more governing experience than Obama.
No doubt McCain chose Palin in his efforts to attract those women and men that supported Hillary Clinton, who refuse to vote for Obama. That he has done. The Hillary sites are going insane happy with the selection of Sarah Palin.
Palin is a maverick in her own right. She has readily and ferociously fought her own party and members when they have strayed from their conservative purpose and principles. The question remains is she ready to battle a liberal President McCain?
“ferociously fought” and “battle a liberal President McCain” — them’s fighting words aren’t they? Will the war mongering ever stop?
McCain is such a tool it’s scary. Experience? We’ve all seen the benfits of Bush’s “experience” haven’t we? And now we’re saddled with Sarah Poli, a neo conservative who wants to take us back to the dark ages. What’s wrong with this pciture? Everything…
