Sarah Palin: Hard Hitting Body Checks Leave Opponents Bloodied And Bruised

Published by Max Steel at 9:22 am under Uncategorized Edit This

Alaska Govenror Sarah PalinWhat a spectacular speech by Vice Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin. Love her or hate her, all agree she gave a stunning performance last night. It was so grand that all the Obama camp could find to complain about was the fact the man who helped Palin write it, Mike Scully, is a Bush speechwriter, as opposed to a 24 year old white boy who steals lines from politicians like Ronald Reagan and socialist like Saul Alinsky.

After the speech given by Joe Biden when he accepted the Vice Presidential nomination, in which he dutifully attacked John McCain, the liberal mainstream media praised the performance of Obama’s new “attack dog.” They sure have harsh words for Palin, who took Obama head on and desecrated his already thin resume and his pompous arrogance. Her performance alone challenged Obama’s own speechmaking. No longer is Obama the only gifted speaker in town.

There was no whining and no apologies from Sarah Palin. She jumped into the lions den and went for the jugular. She was tough in a non-bitchy way. Though she has never performed in front of an audience as large as last nights, nor in prime time, she was obviously comfortable and calm- even when her teleprompter broke and she had to wing it. Her performance and speech was so impressive even her critics were stunned as Palin left no stone unturned. She unleashed on Obama, Biden, the “do nothing” Senate and the press who has attempted to crucify her and her family this week. She body checked them all.

Sarah Palin took control of the reins last night as she defined herself as a hard working conservative woman from a small town not corrupted by politics or politicians. She gave the country an honest, forthright woman with a “servant’s heart.” She must now live up to that. It is imperative, from this time forward, she give the whole truth in the best light.

A prime example is the bridge to no where. This is the second speech in which she said she rejected it and said if we need it the state will pay for it. This is obviously not the entire truth. She did in fact support that bridge in the beginning. She needs to get this out front and explain her thinking instead of allowing others to make her out to be a liar.

Palin can give mediocre performances from this point on and probably still survive, but if she is discovered to be less than honest that alone will destroy her hopes for the candidacy, and the McCain/Palin ticket.

Palin has two tasks left in her quest for the Vice Presidency. One is dealing with the media – many of whom she really pissed off last night. And she must take on Joe Biden in a debate on October 2. If last night’s performance is what we can expect from her, Madame Vice President needs to start packing because she’s moving to Washington, D.C.

But where was all the policy??? Namecalling doesn’t cut it for me. I want more. Sure she has great morals, and she likes hockey but does she have an actual plan? I can’t tell.

Although I really dislike Palin and do not support McCain, I really dug this post. Thanks for your honest response to her speech. It’s refreshing to find a post that can highlight positive things about a candidate without mean-spiritedly cutting down the opposition (I think Palin can learn a thing or two from you!).

I think Sarah Palin did a great job last night. She did jump into the lions den but she showed no fear whatsoever. She is and will be a great asset for John McCain. I think it’s about time someone put Obama and Biden in their place. For too many months all we have heard is the slick talk from Obama. He talks about change but change in what? As we all know talk is cheap, it’s what actually gets done that counts. I think McCain and Palin will get a lot done for the American people. They are sincerely interested in what happens not only to the American people but what happens in the USA. McCain certainly has sacrificed alot of his years in serving his country in the war and then as a public servant. I do believe Obama cannot say that! I believe Palin will bring something to this country that we have not had in this country for a long time and that is family values and beliefs that our country was founded on many years ago. She is a breath of fresh air in the stagnet waters that Obama has created. She knows what it is to be victorious and she is highly respected for what she has done in Alaska. What has Obama done or even Biden that they are highly respected for? Saying they are present when they are not? We don’t need leadership that won’t even be sworn in on the Bible and does not believe in the American flag and all in which she stands for. We need someone that will love and respect the people of the USA and our country.

Excellent. I am looking forward to her debate in October as well. I feel like she is what this election needed, and I have a feeling the next few months are going to be great fun :)
