Oprah Says No To Palin On Her Show
The Drudge Report first reported that Oprah Winfrey has refused to invite Sarah Palin to be on her talk show. Oprah Winfrey is an open supporter of Barack Obama, and has gone on the campaign trail with him. In response to the report put on the Drudge Report, Oprah released the following statement:
OPRAH’S STATEMENT: “The item in today’s Drudge Report is categorically untrue. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over.”
Wink, Wink. Right Oprah?
Oprah would have more legitimacy had Obama not been on her show twice and played portions of his acceptance speech on her show. Right now, her bias is showing.
