Barack Obama Is No Jesus Christ
The new soundbite coming from the Democrats this week? “Jesus Christ was a community organizer and Pontius Pilate was a Governor.”
Those same Democrats that do not want creationism taught in school, demand the 10 Commandments be removed from any government building and land, and demand no prayer in school or at school functions are now comparing Barack Obama to Jesus Christ - and are doing so on the floor of the house in Washington, D.C. On September 10 Tennessee Representative Steve Cohen, a Democrat, stood on the house floor and said the following:
“If you want change, you want the Democratic Party,” Cohen said. “Barack Obama was a community organizer like Jesus, who our minister prayed about. Pontius Pilate was a governor.”
So, the Messiah (Obama) is going to be murdered by the woman who refused to murder her own child inutero? Seriously, what are we supposed to take away from this comment?
Obama find the fool in your campaign that came up with this soundbite and fire them immediately. Seriously have you not been mocked enough for one campaign? I know Jesus Christ and Obama you ain’t even close.

You know Jesus? Like, seriously? You guys hang out? Did you find him? Or did he find you? Do born-again Christians have two belly buttons?
Did you watch the same RNC I did? Seriously Ginny, I may have to spell this out for you in a post…
Yes, I have direct line upstairs.
I am not a “born again” Christian.
Do not mock my faith.
Please do spell it out.
Did you call 1-800-Call-Jesus and talk to Moses? (kidding - it’s from a humor post I did a week or so ago).
I am a democrat and I find the comparison ridiculous. I think what they are doing is taking the negative Messiah comments that some Republicans have made about Obama and ran with it, but it is inappropriate.
I’m not a religious person (I won’t go into that), but I was raised Catholic and I respect everyone’s right to believe what they believe. Ok, to clarify, I don’t do the organized religion thing, but I do have my faith and I took things from my upbringing.
Beyond that, though, I simply respect everyone’s rights. I do believe in separation of church and state, but I do not believe that people should not be able to practice their faith in a state facility. If you want to pray in school, pray. I have no issue with the 10 commandments or any other religious aspect being displayed on public grounds. I do believe that if someone wanted a piece of the Koran or Torah or Wiccan Rede
to be placed along side the 10 commandments, no one can stand in their way. I don’t think religion should be forced on anyone, but I do not believe anyone should be stopped from practicing. In fact, it’s what this country was founded on…religious freedom.
I am writing a novel here….We may be on opposite ends of the political spectrum, but I do agree with you. I don’t think you should be mocked for your faith. You know Jesus in your heart. You have your opinions on Obama, and no, he is not Jesus. I think the comparison is ludicrous.

I’m sorry Kelly but you have entirely too much common sense to be a part of this discussion. LOL.
I will slink out the back door… hehe!

For the record, I wasn’t mocking your faith. I honestly want to know if born again Christians have two belly buttons. I wasn’t assuming you were a BAC, but figured you could pose that query to Jesus the next time you guys meet up for some BBQ.
Don’t go Kelly - you speak wise words lady!
I agree that Obama is no Jesus Christ. I wish many other people would realize that.
Love your blog and will share it with others!
