McCain Needs To Take It To The People
Where is Mitt Romney? I would like to hear his take on this current economic situation. I would like to hear his thoughts on what has happened, how best to repair it, and what can be expected in the long run.
In the meantime, I want to hear John McCain challenging every democrat that refused all calls, since 1987, to oversee Fannie and Freddie. The next time Nancy Pelosi, or any other democrat or democrat apologist, stands up and says “It’s Bush’s fault, it happened on Bush’s watch,” I expect McCain to stand up and say “Oh no, it’s time for straight talk.”
Let the people of this country know of EVERY call for oversight of these two entities that was shouted down by the Democrats, every push for reform that was rejected along party lines.
I want to see McCain explain this to the masses, on a base level. I want McCain to explain this so that every American can understand what is happening, what it means to them, why they should care, and why they should be outraged. Back up, start from the beginning. I want McCain, or Palin, to give a lesson in economics 101. Explain what Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is, and go from there.
The people of this country should be outraged but they are not. Why? Because they have no concept of how this bailout affects them in their daily life. They have no understanding of how this bailout just threw us further into the realm of a socialist nation. They have no clue what this means to the losses of their individual freedoms, rights and liberties as granted by our creator. They have no understanding of the long term cost to all.
Because the majority of people have no understanding we can expect no change. The political corruption will continue, the bailouts will continue, the monster government will continue to grow, and with each step we come that much closer to leaving behind what is most valuable of all.
Stop this bailout!
