The Week In Review- What Really Went Down
What a crazy week. One would think I would be happy about owning shares in this country’s largest mortgage company and the worlds largest insurance company. I’m not. I will be forced to pay the billions of dollars for the purchase but I will never see a profit check. Nope. Those will be going to the politicians and CEO’s. Privatize the profits while socializing the losses.
In the meantime those that could not afford these homes in the first place will continue to live in them. Nope. They won’t be thrown out and the home sold to someone that can afford it. Oh no. Home ownership is no longer a right; it’s an entitlement. They will remain. So, I just bought my neighbor a really nice home. I hope he at least invites me over for dinner sometimes. Nope, no consequences for bad decisions, but definite penalties for the financially responsible, such as myself, who don’t live beyond our means and pay our bills on time.
You won’t hear these liberals say flat out that they are happy about this because they know the country is angry. But this is a huge piece of the pie for them. This is a huge step toward the socialist nation they envision.
Hey nothing like topping these crazy spur- of –the- moment purchases off with a bit of liberal stupidity, hypocrisy and racism.
Sandra Burnhard (yeah, I know) made an obscene and offensive threat toward Vice Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin. Burnhard said if Palin was ever in Manhatten she was going to have her big black friends gang rape Palin. This is liberal humor.
The only words Burnhard left out was buck and pimp. What other reason would this coattail riding nobody have for being in Manhatten? It’s all good though. It was a never- was liberal saying this about a self-made successful female conservative. So, no racially offensive, stereo-typical comments there.
Ah yes, all of Hollywoods socialists have come out against Palin. There’s a surprise. What’s not surprising? Their idiocy. It’s okay for them to say things like, “According to the actuary tables, Palin is one heartbeat away from the Presidency.” Well heck, according to the Obama’s, Biden is one bullet away from the Presidency. Was it not a few short weeks ago that an alleged assassination plot against Obama was discovered and stopped just in the nic of time? But, let’s not talk about that. You can’t say that. That’s racist. That’s mean.
The AP released the results of a poll claiming that racism among Democrats may cost Obama the election. We know this is not the case, as Democrats are not racist. Just ask them. They will tell you. But, it’s good the AP begins preparing the left for their loss now. Maybe it will help prevent the race war predicted by a journalist in Philly, when Obama looses.
Of course the AP did not mention that Obama’s consistent record of inserting race and deception into the campaign may be the actual problem. That’s okay. Rush Limbaugh covered it.
Charles Rangel, who is facing serious legal problems right now due to his intentional violation of the law, called Sarah Palin disabled. Trying to cover his tax evading, law breaking, fat arse, he comes back and says he meant “disadvantaged.” GMAB.
Sarah Palin’s personal email was hacked, as was the email of her family members. It appears to be the work of a college guy in Tennessee who just happens to be the son of a Democrat State Representative. Needless to say, when the media does choose to report this story, it’s Palin’s fault. It seems they would be screaming about this. Oh wait, Palin’s not a suspected terrorist. She is not afforded the right of privacy.
NOW, the National Organization of Women, who seem to think they are relevant, endorsed the Obama/Biden ticket. They’ve not endorsed anyone in years. Their reason for doing so? Why,it’s the very same reason all liberals are rabid over this woman. Palin is bad for liberalism and liberal women. Why? Let’s see:
1. Palin is the mother of five. Her youngest has Downs Syndrome. Palin and her husband knew this prior to his birth. As a couple, together they never questioned whether or not he should have the opportunity for life because they know all life is sacred.
This was wrong on two fronts.
A. She should have never consulted with her husband. This is not open for discussion. It’s a woman’s body. The man has zero say so. He will accept what she decides, end of discussion.
B. She chose to give birth to a less than perfect child. This certainly sets back the billion dollar abortion industry and their Hitleresque view of the perfect Aryan nation.
What if other women out there decide not to murder their less then perfect child because they see Palin’s beautiful perfect little boy? What if women everywhere look at Sarah Palin, wearing a skirt, being a wife, mother and soon to be grandmother, who has literally worked her way to the top and say “Hey, I can be all things, and I don’t have to exclude men or destroy life in the process.” That will certainly be bad for pocket books in the abortion industry.
2. Palin is a Christian. She does in fact believe in something greater than herself or her government, and to top it off she respects the rights of others to not believe as she does. She respects the rights of others to not believe in anything. However, she will not permit anyone to deny her those same rights.
3. She believes in gun ownership. Not only does she believe in the 2nd Amendment, she actually utilizes it. Why, Palin is so good with a gun that she would shoot those big black guys in Manhattan that were sent to gang rape her.
4.She will be seeking to end corruption while prosecuting the corrupt. She will be going after anyone – despite the party member. This, she has proven time and again. This scares the hell of them and they should be scared.
5.Like John McCain, as vice President she will be going after the excess, after the unnecessary, after the wasteful spending. She will be cutting into their personal profits – not only the politicians but the recipients who have been feeding off of this pork.
6. Nancy Pelosi will no longer be the leading female in this country looking down from her bully pulpit. Though she will retain the record of the worst house leader, with the worst ratings, in the history of this country.
7. Finally, the first female Vice President will be a conservative.
Couple points, dude. If you think foreclosing on all the bad mortgages out there would be good for the economy…I guess that’s one point of view. People can’t sell their houses now. Who’s going to buy all these foreclosed properties? By the way, the Bush proposal would still foreclose on the bad debt. They would just shift the financial burden from the stockholders of the lending institutions to the taxpayers.
As for Palin, I’m sure a lot of the vitriol comes from her views on the issues, but a lot of it comes from her demonstrated lack of understanding of just about every facet of the job for which she is applying. It’s not just liberals who are concerned about having her in the White House.
The whole ordinary American thing is nice, but you do need to know a few things to be president or vice president of the United States.
