Oh That Liberal Humor. First Threats of Gang Rape, Now Father- Daughter Incest

Published by Max Steel at 8:44 am under Uncategorized Edit This

The left is trash. It is that simple. I am not referring to “normal” moderate or even slightly left Democrats, one of which even posts on my blog (you’re too rational Kelly), but those far left loons who have hijacked the Democrat party; Those who seek not only to destroy a candidacy but seek to destroy the candidate by any means necessary. They are mean, hateful, vile, angry, disgusting individuals - and goodness how they are loved by those like them.

In my week in review I mentioned Sandra Burnhard’s (yeah, I know) threat to have her big black friends gang rape Sarah Palin if she ever entered Manhattan. Boy did her audience think that was funny. Would they find it funny if we made a joke about Obama’s mama who apparently liked to get around? No. Neither would I. But, what do I know? I have limits.

But that was not low enough. Saturday Night Live, which stopped being funny 20 years ago, thought it amusing to claim Todd Palin is having sexual relations with his own daughters. In a skit where New York Times reporters sought to probe the possibility:

“What about the husband?” asked a Times reporter during a mock assignment meeting for the paper. “You know he’s doing those daughters. I mean, come on. It’s Alaska.”

The assignment editor for the Times, portrayed by actor James Franco, responded: “He very well could be. Admittedly, there is no evidence of that, but on the other hand, there is no convincing evidence to the contrary. And these are just some of the lingering questions about Governor Palin.”

The skit featured a photo of one reporter and an on-screen message that stated, “In 2009 [reporter] Howland Gwathmey Moss, V was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for his Times series on unproven, yet un-disproven incest in the Palin family. Sadly, he was to die 3 months later, run over by a snow machine, driven by a polar bear.”

The final shot showed an image of a New York Times page, with headlines that included:

“While No Direct Evidence of Incest in Palin Family Emerges, Counter Evidence Remains Agonizingly Elusive” and “In a Small Alaska Town, Doubts Still Linger.”

No doubt Saturday Night Live is currently working up some skit right now possibly involving sexual relations between Michelle Obama and her daughters. I wonder how well that will play with the public.

I completely agree. That’s as distasteful as telling a rape joke.

“Did you hear the one about the woman who is attacked on the street by a gorilla, beaten senseless, raped repeatedly and left to die? When she finally regains consciousness and tries to speak, her doctor leans over to hear her sigh contently and to feebly ask, ‘Where is that marvelous ape?” -John Sindey McCain

    Or wife beating:
John McCain recently made a joke about wife beating to a reporter from the Las Vegas Sun. McCain was being asked if he was avoiding the unpopular Republican Governor of Nevada, he replied “and I stopped beating my wife a couple weeks ago.”

    Or torture:

His presidential hopes apparently derailed, a number of his staff had abandoned the campaign, only to be brought back when McCain reemerged as the Republican front-runner. He joked that he conducted “a short period of waterboarding to find out what they did in their absence.”

But I get your point. McCain’s only running for the highest office in the land, not working as an actor on a late-night comedy show. Just don’t tell him he’s going bald:

“When his wife teased that his hair was getting “a little thin,” McCain fumed. “At least I don’t plaster on the makeup like a trollup, you c*nt!”

I honestly think people on both extremes are completely off their rockers; that’s why sit on this comfy fence.

I think anytime someone takes anything to extremes, it’s a problem. I’ve heard both sides go to extremes with their backing of their party or a candidate believing their party or candidate is never wrong and that no one else is ever right. That other beliefs are not valid.(not just in this election)

while threedegrees is making the point that both sides do it (and McCain’s comments are part of what made me lose respect for him), it doesn’t make it any less disgusting.

Comedians have some wiggle room with things others would be chastised for, but making a suggestion of rape is not one of them. It’s not funny in any way. SNL DID stop being funny, for the most part, long ago. I have heard the rumors about Bristol’s baby being from incest. As I’ve said before, kids should be off limits, but making that kind of accusation is dangerous. Making it into a comedy skit is outrageous. Don’t these people think before they speak? Don’t they realize that the candidates are not the only ones affected? Their children see and hear these things and are taunted by it?

We all believe things differently and for different reasons. I wish we could do so with respect. Sad, sad, sad!

I might just be a whacko-left-wing-baby-killing hippie, but I’m pretty sure that SNL skit was directed to make fun of the media.

The SNL did make fun of the “media”…..

But the means it used to poke fun was the distasteful and slanderous incest accusations.

So the poking fun was used as a means to demean and hurt both the republican VP nominee and her family.

They could have done that with class but chose to be vulgar and sophmoric.
