Conservative Politics Today

First, let me say I am so proud of Senator Shelby (R, AL), Senator Jim Bunning (R,KY), Senator Jim DeMint (R, S.C.)for calling this bailout what it is – socialism. I want to publicly thank them for fighting tooth and nail for us, the people, and for the conservative principles so vital to the continuation of this great nation.

I can only hope that at this point they will now publicly call for the removal of Chris Dodd and Barney Frank, who are directly responsible for this mess. They took bribes, via campaign contributions, to not only look the other way but to keep others from looking as well. They are criminals and should be under investigation. They should certainly not be a part of the attempts to “fix” the problem they were paid to let happen.

These very same Democrats, directly responsible for this current situation are trying to sneak more spending into these bills! Thank you Senator DeMint for exposing Harry Reid yesterday, and Senator Phil Gram for exposing Chris Dodd’s attempt to push 20% of all profits from the bailout into the Housing Trust Fund, to fund criminal organizations such as ACORN and groups such as the National Council of La Raza.

TRANSFER OF A PERCENTAGE OF PROFITS.
DEPOSITS.Not less than 20 percent of any profit realized on the sale of each troubled asset purchased under this Act shall be deposited as provided in paragraph (2).
USE OF DEPOSITS.Of the amount referred to in paragraph (1)
65 percent shall be deposited into the Housing Trust Fund established under section 1338 of the Federal Housing Enterprises Regulatory Reform Act of 1992 (12 U.S.C. 4568); and
35 percent shall be deposited into the Capital Magnet Fund established under section 1339 of that Act (12 U.S.C. 4569).
REMAINDER DEPOSITED IN THE TREASURY.All amounts remaining after payments under paragraph (1) shall be paid into the General Fund of the Treasury for reduction of the public debt.

The Democrats have not learned a thing. They are still, during the heat of the moment, trying to further rape and steal from the taxpayer in order to send funds to groups that will help the Democrats with their political efforts.

Republicans, expose them, shame them and get them the hell out of there!
