Today I Come To You With A Heavy Heart
Today my heart is heavy. Last night I bore witness to our own government stampeding our Constitution and our freedoms. I watched last night as 74 of our U.S. Senators willingly threw us head first into the world of Socialism.
Many will read this and believe I am being overly dramatic. They will argue that the government had to do something or we the people would suffer. Sadly, what these same people do not realize is that we will still suffer- only now it will be greater than you ever imagined possible. For you see, if this bill gets past the House of Representatives individual freedom and liberty no longer exists in this country.
I have discovered online a series that had a great impact on my growth, beliefs and understanding of the world. It came out in my younger years when I was not at all interested in the topic, but luckily my father made me watch it. I am now going to pass it on to you. I can only hope it will have the same affect on you as it did me.
