As Obama likes to say “The acorn does not fall far from the tree.” The mother of Michael Bell, of Jena 6 infamy, was arrested for assault. It is alleged she hit two women in the head with a shovel.

These two women, not identified, dropped their children off at Melissa Bell’s home. A neighbor called the two women to let them know that drugs were being sold, from the home, in the presence of their children. When the women returned to pick up their children an altercation broke out and Bell hit them both with the shovel.

Let us see if Al Sharpton runs to her rescue.
