Blagjoveich Should Not Resign

Published by Max Steel under Uncategorized Edit This

This Governor Blagojevich story has me fascinated. Actually it’s not so much his story as it is the media reporting the story. Blagojevich is a typical corrupt Illinois politician. Of the past 9 Governors, 5 have been indicated and four convicted. If politicians are rats, Illinois is the rats nest. But, I digress. It is not Blagojevich that interests me. It is the media. It is the propagandizing. The staging. The coloring.

The almighty Obama has claimed no knowledge of this corrupt political society. He has claimed no knowledge that Blagojevich was a typical corrupt Illinois politician trying to profit from his office. Yet, I am not comforted by his stuttered words of denial and innocence.

I find it fascinating to watch the media follow their marching orders and begin presenting Blagojevich as mentally unstable.

MADDOW: Hometown folks use words like sociopath, delusional and compulsive to describe their governor.

BARNICLE: There’s a delusional aspect clearly to Blagojevich.

GERGEN: He is delusional.

TOOBIN: The delusional nature of Blagojevich.

COLMES: The governor was delusional.

CADDELL: I’ve been told by people for some years that he was a little on the touched side.

PAGE: He has a long reputation for being a little weird.

BROWNSTEIN: These quotes from him do not suggest mental balance.

BROWN: Blagojevich seemed obsessed in this crazy, manic way.

BARNICLE: Delusional.

OLBERMANN: A literally crazy governor.

COOPER: The notion that Governor Blagojevich thought he might get appointed to ambassadorship is like smoking glue or something.

LYONS: This is the act of a madman. This is what you call insanity.

ISIKOFF: How off his rocker he was to be talking the way he was.

TODD: Obviously this guy Blagojevich is crazy.

SHRUM: He ought to plead not guilty by reason of insanity.

Let me toss out what I think is going on. Blagojevich, who is not mentally impaired, really ticked off someone in Obama’s camp, and he, along with his “foul mouthed” wife, are paying. They are paying big time.

Pressure is being put on Blagojevich to resign. None of Illinois’s politicians or anyone in Obama’s camp wants an impeachment. For an impeachment there must be a trial. If there is a trial then evidence must be presented. If evidence is presented, then counter-evidence is presented. I say there is great fear of this happening for everyone is afraid of where that evidence will lead.

No doubt Rezko is spilling the beans. No doubt there is great fear in Obama’s camp that Blagojevich will follow. No doubt the Obama camp sent out the latest talking points about Blagjoveich’s alleged mental instability.

Why would they do this? Simple. It is imperative that Blagjoveich be discredited now and shut down before he too starts ratting people out. Despite the myth, there is no honor among thieves.

As for filling Obama’s Senate seat, unless there is an election there is no way a democrat can be appointed without scandal and doubt staining and following that person. No, if one is appointed it will have to be a Republican or Independent.

Let the media continue to put out propaganda and subjection as news. I will play too. In the meantime, I say to Blagjoveich, do not resign. Make them impeach you. And in the meantime, make your sanity clear.

Innocent until proven guilty!
